Description

Witch Hat Cookies are delightful and spooky treats perfect for Halloween. These cookies are shaped like witch hats and are sure to impress your guests.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of butter, softened
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • Chocolate kisses
  • Orange and black sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  8. Once cooled, place a chocolate kiss on top of each cookie and decorate with sprinkles.
