Description

A spooky and delicious fudge recipe perfect for Halloween or any vampire-themed event.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of red food coloring
  • 1/2 cup of black food coloring
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter over medium heat.
  2. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and melted.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Divide the mixture into two bowls.
  5. In one bowl, add red food coloring and mix well.
  6. In the other bowl, add black food coloring and mix well.
  7. In a greased 9×9 inch pan, pour the black fudge mixture first, spreading it evenly.
  8. Next, pour the red fudge mixture on top of the black layer.
  9. Use a knife to swirl the two colors together for a marbled effect.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  11. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For a more intense flavor, add a pinch of sea salt to the fudge mixture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • Feel free to add Halloween-themed sprinkles on top before refrigerating.
