- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, mash the raspberries and mix with powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, then dollop the raspberry mixture on top.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the raspberry layer and swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a more intense raspberry flavor, use raspberry puree instead of whole raspberries.
- These brownies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- Serve with whipped cream for an extra treat!
