- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda

- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup red frosting
- Chocolate vampire teeth (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
- Once cooled, pipe the red frosting on top of each cupcake to resemble blood.
- Insert chocolate vampire teeth into the frosting for decoration.
Notes
- For a more intense chocolate flavor, consider adding chocolate chips to the batter.
- These cupcakes can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
