- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the diced onion and minced garlic.
- In the crockpot, layer the chopped cabbage, followed by the browned beef mixture.
- Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, rice, beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
- Stir to combine all ingredients well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the cabbage is tender and the rice is cooked.
