- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 can of chocolate frosting
- 1 cup of candy corn
- 1 cup of mini Reese’s cups
- 1 cup of pretzel sticks
- 1 cup of yellow frosting
- 1 cup of red frosting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
- Once cooled, frost each cupcake with chocolate frosting.
- To create the turkey’s body, place a mini Reese’s cup on top of the frosted cupcake.
- Arrange candy corn around the Reese’s cup to form the turkey’s feathers.
- Insert pretzel sticks into the top of the Reese’s cup to create the turkey’s tail.
- Use yellow and red frosting to add details like the turkey’s beak and wattle.
