Description

Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcakes are delightful and festive treats that are perfect for celebrating the holiday. These cupcakes are decorated to resemble adorable turkeys, making them a fun addition to any Thanksgiving gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 can of chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup of candy corn
  • 1 cup of mini Reese’s cups
  • 1 cup of pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup of yellow frosting
  • 1 cup of red frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, frost each cupcake with chocolate frosting.
  6. To create the turkey’s body, place a mini Reese’s cup on top of the frosted cupcake.
  7. Arrange candy corn around the Reese’s cup to form the turkey’s feathers.
  8. Insert pretzel sticks into the top of the Reese’s cup to create the turkey’s tail.
  9. Use yellow and red frosting to add details like the turkey’s beak and wattle.
