- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups stuffing (your choice)
- 1 cup chopped vegetables (carrots, celery, onions)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (sage, thyme, rosemary)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Kitchen twine for tying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- Prepare the turkey by removing the bones carefully to create a flat piece of meat.
- In a bowl, mix the stuffing ingredients together.
- Spread the stuffing mixture evenly over the turkey.
- Roll the turkey tightly and secure it with kitchen twine.
- Season the outside of the turkey with salt and pepper.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth over it.
- Roast in the oven for about 2-2.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165ยฐF (74ยฐC).
- Let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
