Description

A fun and spooky dessert perfect for Halloween, featuring a delicious pie decorated with spider motifs.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 2 cups of pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cloves
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • Chocolate syrup for decoration
  • Edible candy spiders for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Pour the filling into the pre-made pie crust.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the filling is set.
  7. Let the pie cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, drizzle chocolate syrup in a spider web pattern on top of the pie.
  9. Place edible candy spiders on the pie for decoration.
