Description

Spider Cider is a unique beverage that combines traditional cider flavors with a twist, offering a delightful and surprising taste experience.


Ingredients

  • Apples – 5 lbs
  • Spiderwort leaves – 1 cup
  • Brown sugar – 1 cup
  • Water – 1 gallon
  • Yeast – 1 packet

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop the apples into small pieces.
  2. In a large pot, combine the chopped apples, spiderwort leaves, and water.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Strain the liquid into a fermentation vessel.
  5. Add brown sugar and yeast to the strained liquid.
  6. Seal the vessel and let it ferment for 1-2 weeks.
  7. Once fermentation is complete, bottle the cider and refrigerate.
