Ingredients
- Apples – 5 lbs
- Spiderwort leaves – 1 cup
- Brown sugar – 1 cup
- Water – 1 gallon
- Yeast – 1 packet
Instructions
- Wash and chop the apples into small pieces.
- In a large pot, combine the chopped apples, spiderwort leaves, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a fermentation vessel.
- Add brown sugar and yeast to the strained liquid.
- Seal the vessel and let it ferment for 1-2 weeks.
- Once fermentation is complete, bottle the cider and refrigerate.
