- 2 pounds flank steak, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Place the sliced flank steak in the crockpot.
- Add the sliced onions and bell peppers on top of the steak.
- In a bowl, mix together the garlic, beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and paprika.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the steak and vegetables in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the steak is tender.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir it into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the steak in the sauce overnight before cooking.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or carrots.
