A delicious recipe for smash burgers topped with a flavorful house sauce, perfect for grilling enthusiasts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle relish
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into balls (about 4 oz each).
  3. Place the balls on the grill and smash them down with a spatula.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until a crust forms, then flip and add cheese if desired.
  6. While the burgers are cooking, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, and onion powder to make the house sauce.
  7. Toast the burger buns on the grill.
  8. Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on the bun and topping with house sauce.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For best results, use high-fat ground beef for juicier burgers.
  • Feel free to customize the toppings to your liking.
  • Make sure your grill or skillet is hot enough to get a good sear on the burgers.
