Description

A hearty and flavorful slow cooker chili made with turkey and sweet potatoes, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the ground turkey, sweet potatoes, black beans, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, stir the chili and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with your choice of toppings.
