- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the ground turkey, sweet potatoes, black beans, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, stir the chili and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve hot, garnished with your choice of toppings.

- This chili can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- It freezes well for up to 3 months.
