- 2 pounds Swiss steak
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brown the Swiss steak on both sides, then transfer to a slow cooker.
- Add sliced onion and minced garlic on top of the steak.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Pour the mixture over the steak and onions in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides.
