Ingredients

- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Shredded lettuce
- Cheddar cheese slices
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add the diced onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and pickles. Season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Toast the hamburger buns lightly.
- Assemble the Sloppy Joe by placing the beef mixture on the bottom bun, followed by shredded lettuce and a slice of cheese.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve hot.
