Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced fennel and apples with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Layer the fennel and apple mixture in a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream and half of the Gruyère cheese.
- Pour the cream mixture over the fennel and apples.
