Description

Delicious and fun Rice Krispie Pumpkins perfect for Halloween celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • Orange food coloring
  • Green candy melts or chocolate for stems
  • Wax paper

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and add a few drops of orange food coloring, mixing until the desired color is achieved.
  4. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
  5. Let the mixture cool slightly, then shape into pumpkin shapes.
  6. Melt the green candy melts or chocolate and use it to create stems on top of the pumpkins.
  7. Place the pumpkins on wax paper to set.

Notes

  • For added decoration, use chocolate chips or candy eyes.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
