Description
A delightful and refreshing sorbet made with ripe plums and aromatic cardamom, perfect for a hot day.
Ingredients

- 4 ripe plums, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the chopped plums and cardamom to the saucepan, and simmer for about 10 minutes until the plums are soft.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Blend the mixture until smooth, then stir in the lemon juice.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 4 hours, stirring every hour to break up ice crystals.
- Once frozen, scoop and serve the sorbet in bowls.
Notes
- For a sweeter sorbet, adjust the sugar according to your taste.
- Make sure to use ripe plums for the best flavor.
- This sorbet can be stored in the freezer for up to a week.
