Description

Delicious and fluffy pumpkin donuts perfect for fall, topped with a sweet glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, milk, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fill the donut pan with the batter, about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  8. Optional: Glaze the donuts with a simple icing made from powdered sugar and milk.
