- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt to the mashed bananas and mix well.
- Stir in the rolled oats until fully combined.
- If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
