  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  2. Arrange the brioche slices in a greased baking dish, overlapping them slightly.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
  4. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
