Description

Mushroom Swiss Meatloaf is a delicious and hearty dish that combines the rich flavors of mushrooms and Swiss cheese with traditional meatloaf ingredients, making it a perfect twist for dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped mushrooms, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
