- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Olive oil (for brushing)
- Black olives (for eyes)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Place the brie cheese in the center of the pastry.
- Wrap the pastry around the brie, leaving some parts exposed to create a ‘mummy’ look.
- Brush the pastry with egg wash and olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Add black olives as eyes to the mummy.
- Serve warm with crackers or fruit.
Notes
- For a sweeter version, add a layer of jam or honey on top of the brie before wrapping.
