Description

A delicious and easy recipe for beef and broccoli made in a crockpot, perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a crockpot, combine beef, broccoli, beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  4. 30 minutes before serving, stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
