- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 can chocolate frosting
- 1 bag mini marshmallows
- Black food coloring
- 1 package gummy spiders (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
- Spread a layer of chocolate frosting on each cupcake.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the mini marshmallows until they puff up, then stir in black food coloring to create a spider web effect.
- Using a spoon, drizzle the melted marshmallow mixture over the frosted cupcakes to create a web design.
- Top each cupcake with a gummy spider for decoration.
