- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the mushrooms until they are golden brown.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream and beef broth together.
- In a baking dish, layer the cooked beef and mushrooms, then pour the cream mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
