- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh thyme for garnish
Instructions
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- In a bowl, mix apple cider, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard.
- Pour the apple cider mixture over the pork chops in the skillet.
- Reduce heat to medium and let simmer for 10 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through.
- Remove the pork chops and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh thyme and serve with the glaze drizzled on top.
Notes
- For best results, use thick-cut pork chops.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
