Description

A delicious and healthy recipe for chocolate chip oatmeal bars that are easy to make and perfect for a snack or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the honey (or maple syrup), applesauce, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
