Description

A warm and comforting gyoza soup that combines delicious dumplings with a flavorful broth, perfect for cozy nights.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of gyoza (about 20 pieces)
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup bok choy, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the chicken or vegetable broth and water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the pot. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped bok choy and gyoza to the pot. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the gyoza are cooked through.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or spinach for extra nutrition.
  • This soup can be made vegetarian by using vegetable broth and gyoza filled with vegetables.
