Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and melted butter.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until smooth.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
