- 12 large jalapeños
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked chorizo, crumbled
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chorizo, breadcrumbs, cilantro, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese and chorizo mixture.
- Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
- These can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
- Serve with sour cream or guacamole for dipping.
