Description

Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup gluten-free oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg, then spread them evenly in a baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix the gluten-free oats, almond flour, brown sugar, and chopped nuts.
  4. Pour the melted coconut oil over the oat mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Spread the oat mixture over the apples in the baking dish.
  6. If desired, drizzle maple syrup over the top for added sweetness.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
