- 1 whole turkey (10–12 pounds)
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup and soy sauce.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and brush the maple glaze all over the turkey.
- Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 2 to 2.5 hours, basting with the glaze every 30 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C) in the thickest part of the turkey.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- For best results, use a fresh turkey rather than a frozen one.
- Make sure to baste the turkey regularly to keep it moist and flavorful.
- Adjust the cooking time based on the size of your turkey.
