A spooky twist on the classic Shepherd’s Pie, perfect for Halloween gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add the onions, carrots, and peas, cooking until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Spread the mashed potatoes over the meat mixture, smoothing it out.
  7. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving.
