Delicious and spooky Halloween Witch Cupcakes that are perfect for your Halloween celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup green buttercream frosting
  • Chocolate cones for witch hats
  • Edible eyes
  • Black sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and buttermilk.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  8. Pipe green buttercream frosting on top of each cupcake.
  9. Place a chocolate cone on top to create the witch’s hat.
  10. Add edible eyes and black sprinkles for decoration.

Notes

  • Make sure the cupcakes are completely cool before frosting to prevent melting.
  • You can use store-bought frosting to save time.
  • Feel free to customize the decorations to make them more festive.
