Description

Delicious and spooky Halloween Vampire Bite Cupcakes that are perfect for your Halloween party.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can (16 oz) vanilla frosting
  • red gel food coloring
  • chocolate syrup
  • mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, use a small knife to cut out a small circle from the top of each cupcake to create a ‘bite’ effect.
  7. Fill the hole with chocolate syrup and place a few mini chocolate chips to resemble vampire teeth.
  8. Frost the cupcakes with vanilla frosting and drizzle red gel food coloring to create a blood effect.
