These Halloween Mummy Cupcakes are a fun and spooky treat perfect for Halloween parties. They are moist chocolate cupcakes topped with creamy white frosting and decorated to look like mummies.

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 can white frosting
- Chocolate chips or candy eyes for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, frost the cupcakes with white frosting to create a mummy effect.
- Use additional frosting to create bandage lines and place chocolate chips or candy eyes on top for decoration.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the batter.
- Feel free to use store-bought frosting or make your own if preferred.
- These cupcakes can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
