Description

Delicious smash burgers made with ground beef and topped with feta cheese for a unique flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape them into balls.
  3. Place the beef balls on the skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties.
  4. Season the patties with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and add feta cheese on top.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is slightly melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.
  7. Toast the burger buns in the skillet for a minute.
  8. Assemble the burgers with your choice of toppings and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results, use ground beef with a higher fat content (80/20).
  • Feel free to customize toppings based on your preference.
  • These burgers can also be grilled outdoors for a smoky flavor.
