Description

Golden Oreo Truffles are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that combines the creamy goodness of cream cheese with the sweet crunch of Golden Oreos, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Golden Oreos (approximately 14.3 oz)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Crush the Golden Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until well blended.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze the truffles for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and vegetable oil together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and place them back on the parchment paper.
  7. Optional: Sprinkle additional crushed Golden Oreos on top of the dipped truffles for decoration.
  8. Refrigerate the truffles until the chocolate is set, about 15-20 minutes.

Notes

  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • For a fun twist, try adding different flavor extracts to the cream cheese mixture.
  • These truffles can be made ahead of time and frozen for later enjoyment.
