Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, juiced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture onto the flank steak.
  4. Grill the steak for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  5. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. While the steak is resting, prepare the avocado salsa by combining diced avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, and lime juice in a bowl.
  7. Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
  8. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  9. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak on the tortillas and topping with avocado salsa.
