- 1 lb flank steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture onto the flank steak.
- Grill the steak for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- While the steak is resting, prepare the avocado salsa by combining diced avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, and lime juice in a bowl.
- Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak on the tortillas and topping with avocado salsa.
