Description

Feta Rolls with Spicy Honey are a delicious appetizer that combines the creaminess of feta cheese with the sweetness and heat of spicy honey, wrapped in crispy pastry.


Ingredients

  • 200g feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon spicy honey
  • 4 sheets of phyllo pastry
  • 50g melted butter
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the feta cheese with spicy honey until well combined.
  3. Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface and brush it with melted butter.
  4. Place another sheet of phyllo on top and brush with more butter.
  5. Cut the layered phyllo into strips.
  6. Place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of each strip and roll it up tightly.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops with more melted butter.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more spicy honey to the feta mixture.
  • These rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
