- 200g feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon spicy honey
- 4 sheets of phyllo pastry
- 50g melted butter
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the feta cheese with spicy honey until well combined.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface and brush it with melted butter.
- Place another sheet of phyllo on top and brush with more butter.
- Cut the layered phyllo into strips.
- Place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of each strip and roll it up tightly.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with more melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more spicy honey to the feta mixture.
- These rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
- Serve with a side of extra spicy honey for dipping.
