Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons brewed coffee
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and cut into strips.
- Twist the strips into knots and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, mix powdered sugar and brewed coffee to make the icing.
- Drizzle the coffee icing over the warm cinnamon knots.
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, add more brewed coffee to the icing.
- These knots can be served warm or at room temperature.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
