Description

Delicious cinnamon knots drizzled with a rich coffee icing, perfect for fall desserts.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brewed coffee

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into strips.
  5. Twist the strips into knots and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix powdered sugar and brewed coffee to make the icing.
  8. Drizzle the coffee icing over the warm cinnamon knots.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, add more brewed coffee to the icing.
