- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup warm milk (110°F)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter and egg to the yeast mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 2 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape them into balls.
- Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet and let them rise for 10 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with additional melted butter before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic powder or herbs to the dough.
- These rolls are best served warm.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
