Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter and egg to the yeast mixture and mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  5. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape them into balls.
  6. Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet and let them rise for 10 minutes.
