Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and yeast.
- Add the warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
- After resting, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
- Place the dough in a greased crockpot and cover it with the lid.
- Cook on high for 2-3 hours or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the bread from the crockpot and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
- For a crustier bread, you can place the crockpot lid slightly ajar during the last hour of cooking.
- Experiment with adding herbs or cheese for different flavors.
- Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature.
