Description

A simple and delicious Dump-and-Go Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken recipe that requires minimal prep and delivers maximum flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken thighs in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
  6. Serve over rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
