Description

Dirt Cupcakes with Gummy Worms are a fun and delicious dessert that combines chocolate cupcakes with a creamy frosting and crushed cookies, topped with gummy worms for a playful touch.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 container chocolate frosting
  • 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • Gummy worms for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, frost each cupcake with chocolate frosting.
  7. Sprinkle crushed chocolate sandwich cookies on top of the frosting to create a dirt effect.
  8. Finally, place gummy worms on top of the cupcakes for decoration.

Notes

  • For a more intense chocolate flavor, consider adding chocolate chips to the batter.
