Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef, cook until browned.
  4. Stir in chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, and paprika.
  5. Add crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, and beef broth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes.
