- 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup of diced onions
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- In a large pot, boil the sliced potatoes until just tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, sautรฉing until translucent.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, sautรฉed onions, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish. Pour half of the cheese mixture over the potatoes. Repeat with the remaining potatoes and cheese mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
