Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken breast.
  5. Roll the chicken tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Dredge each roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and brown the chicken rolls on all sides.
