Description

A delicious and easy slow cooker recipe featuring tortellini and sausage, perfect for a quick dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 package (9 ounces) refrigerated tortellini
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Drain excess fat and transfer the sausage to the slow cooker.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, spinach, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
  4. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, add the tortellini to the slow cooker and stir.
  7. Continue cooking until the tortellini is tender.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
