A simple and delicious crockpot recipe for pepper steak, perfect for busy nights.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs flank steak, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Place the sliced flank steak in the crockpot.
- Add the sliced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic on top of the steak.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the steak and vegetables in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir it into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add additional spices or vegetables as desired.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated for leftovers.
