Description

A simple and delicious crockpot recipe for pepper steak, perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced flank steak in the crockpot.
  2. Add the sliced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic on top of the steak.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the steak and vegetables in the crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir it into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
